The Eaton Fire & What We Lost
The Eaton fire has been one of the most challenging experiences I have ever faced as an artist and person. On January 7th, 2025, I lost my childhood home and all of my belongings to the Eaton fire that tore through Altadena, CA.
This video was taken 3 days following our immediate evacuation of the property. In the video, you can hear me commenting about my home and cracking jokes, but I’m mostly in shock and don’t know what else to say. My girlfriend and I managed to sneak back up to the property, avoiding police to see the house. Following this day, the upper sections of Altadena were blocked off by the National Guard to keep looters out of the houses. So we would not be back up there for the next 2 weeks. More soon…
