What is the MEOW?

The Campus Center for Appropriate Technology (CCAT) Mobile Energy On Wheels (MEOW) stands as Cal Poly Humboldt's only fully renewable, portable, and student-built clean energy solution. It is a testament to the dedication and ingenuity of numerous generations of CCAT staff and student engineers who have designed and maintained this innovative project. The versatility of this innovative, appropriate technology opens up limitless possibilities for its application. For an engineering class and senior capstone project I worked on restoring and adding electrical hardware to this trailer, then with the help from a SHIFT grant I was given the unique opportunity to paint a mural on the exterior of my own design. I along with the many helping hands of the student body were able to paint this monstrous project and leave a lasting impression at CCAT and on the community.
